Regarded with awe throughout the music world Lee “Scratch” Perry holds status as one of the most enduring and original reggae producers and artists of all time. From his early days in Kingston Jamaica through to his production of some Wailers classics and lots more Perry’s innovative style marks him out as one of Reggaes true originals. He’s worked with everyone form The Skatalites to The Clash and he can even be credited with pairing Peter Tosh with Bob Marley and The Wailers. 
Sometimes credited with the invention of DUB his groundbreaking use of sound effects, echo reverb and rewind added a new dimension to Reggae. Lee “the Upsetter” Perry is still going strong at the grand old age of 80, still touring Europe and beyond. His Irish shows also year we’re all sell-outs this time around should be no different. 
The Bowery only in existence for less than 2 months is firmly establishing itself as the must-go venue in Dublin. With “The Best Sound”  in Dublin and Ska bands every Saturday night what better place to see Mr Perry and full band.
